Friday afternoon I was out playing with the pontoon and my buddy called and said hey. Enough work let's go get on the water. What could I do? I loaded up some ice and refreshments and he pulled up with his 25 Sunsation. We loaded up and headed down to Pioneer in Oshkosh. The Pioneer is getting some updates and a new boathouse that is supposed to be finished in a couple of weeks. The launch price is now $20. The boat launch was full of quality weeds and nice and green already. We dropped in fired up and took a nice quick first spin out towards Streich. Since it's my buddy's girlfriend's first time out. We decided to spin back and take a little run up the river through Oshkosh and a quick spin out on Lake Butte Des Mortes. We noticed a crazy-looking Green Boat by Fox River Brewing. We got a call from another friend and he was at Pioneer on the docks and getting ready to go out. We stopped and talked for a while while he washed the bug poop off the boat. Then took off headed over to Steichs and hung out for the rest of the day. Not too many people out But it was great to be back on the water and back at Steich
