Thursday nights in Appleton offer a plethora of choices, but this week, Flagstone Bar & Grill was the place to be. I made a quick run over to check out the Grand Jam Duo, a dynamic pair from the band Grand Union. I was in for a pleasant surprise when I found out the regular singer couldn’t make it. Instead, the lead singer who used to play with Grand Union stepped up to fill in for the night.

These two talented musicians did a bang-up job, playing a diverse setlist that spanned genres. They even put their unique spin on a few non-country songs, making the night all the more special. The duo’s chemistry and versatility were evident, captivating the crowd and keeping the energy high.

The service at Flagstone was, as always, top-notch. The staff hustled to ensure everyone had a great time, from serving up cold drinks to dishing out tasty bar fare. The atmosphere was buzzing with friendly chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses—a perfect backdrop to the night’s entertainment.
