Thursday night with Hairball at Waterfest was a blast. The weather was beautiful, so I packed a cooler, grabbed a few friends, and headed down to join in the fun. We parked in the front parking lot, which was convenient for some pre-show tailgating. Before diving into the music, I always make it a point to check out the boats and boaters at Waterfest. We grabbed some ice-cold drinks and headed to the seawall to see what was happening. There were quite a few boats out, which wasn't surprising given the fantastic weather. We bumped into many boating friends, caught up on their plans for the weekend, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere.
Afterward, we made our way inside to catch the first band, Michel Weber. He brought great energy to the stage, and I genuinely enjoyed his performance. I would definitely see him again. Up next was the TUFF band, a seasoned rock group that knows how to entertain. They were a lot of fun to listen to. And finally, it was time for the main event: HAIRBALL! Every time I've seen this crew, it has been an absolute blast. They're a rock cover band that resurrects the spirit of the '80s, complete with costume changes, big lights, smoke, fire, and pyrotechnics. It's always a thrilling experience, and this time was no different. I even captured videos and photos to prove it. If you missed out on this one, be sure to keep Hairball on your must-see list, especially if you're an '80s rock fan!
