Another Amazing Day on the Water
Saturday was another amazing day for boating enthusiasts like me. In the absence of my kiddos, the moment I received the call to go boating, I swiftly packed up and made my way out the door. We headed right to the 24th Street boat ramp in Oshkosh and got on the water quickly.

Confronting the algae monster
Our first stop was at Streich's, hoping that we wouldn't have to deal with the notorious algae monster. Thankfully, luck was on our side, and although the water had a slight green tint, it wasn't a major issue at all. Which is always a huge plus this time of year.

Tying Up and Chilling with Friends
The real magic of the day at Streich's is being able to hang out with cool people and we got to tie up with some good friends. The atmosphere was low-key, and the weather couldn't have been better, setting the stage for a truly great day.

Behold the Marvelous Boat
But the show-stopper of the day was undeniably my friend Don and his new SC37 Outerlimits cat, boasting incredible twin Mercury Racing 450Rs. I had previously seen photos and videos of this beauty, but experiencing it up close and personal was a whole new level of awe.

As I stood there, gawking at the boat, I couldn't help but be amazed by its graceful presence on the water. It almost seemed like a massive waterbug, effortlessly floating atop the surface. It appeared to have a draft of only about 1 ft of water, defying logic for a boat of this size.

It was really cool to check this amazing machine out in person.. It's not every day you get the chance to see a boat like this one.

Overall, it was a day filled with incredible sights, unforgettable moments, and the joy of boating.
