Alright, so last Friday, I figured I'd swing by Maloney's for a quick pitstop. Little did I know, it was gonna turn into a night of guitars, snowmobiles, and some regret about missing out on a fish dinner.
Dom Mueller's Acoustic Set: Walked in, and there's Dom Mueller, doing his thing on the guitar and harmonica. Now, I have not seen this guy sing before, but after checking him out online, turns out he's the lead singer for Hush Money. Yeah, that's on my list now. This night, though, it was all about Dom going solo, belting out a mix of old and new covers that had the joint jumping. They kicked things off at 6:30.
Snowmobiles in the Mix: Outside, there were snowmobiles lined up. People were stopping in, grabbing a drink, some food, and catching Dom's set.
Fish Dinner Fiasco: Now, here's where I messed up. Saw a plate of fish go by, and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one. Looked damn good. Next time, I won't make that mistake. Lesson learned.
Dom's Tunes and a Bit of Snap: Hung out for about an hour and a half, soaked in the tunes, and got some pics and vids of Dom doing his thing. You gotta check this guys vid and photos.
Next Up: Genessee Sisters: After soaking in the vibe, it was time to move on to the next chapter of the night: catching the Genessee Sisters. You're gonna wanna hear about that—stay tuned.
In a Nutshell: Maloney's delivered a Friday night that hit all the right notes. Guitars, snowmobiles, and a bit of regret about the fish dinner. Dom's acoustic set made it special. So, if you're into guitars, good vibes, and maybe a snowmobile or two, Maloney's is the spot. Until the next chapter.
