Saturday night—and it wasn’t just any Saturday. Two of my favorite people, Chad and Norm, were celebrating their birthdays, and when these guys party, you know it’s going to be a good time. Add in Paper City Trio rocking the stage and Northland Sports Pub’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party? Oh yeah, this was a night I wasn’t missing for the world.

Walking in, the vibe was already lit. Friends were decked out in some hilariously heinous Christmas sweaters, and the bar was buzzing with energy. Chad was already up there with his band, Paper City Trio, tearing it up on stage, and my man Pat Pedersen was absolutely crushing it on the mic. Great tunes, great friends, and great beers flowing—what more could you want?

The night just kept getting better when some other musicians decided to jump in and join the fun. Rob Anthony, Chad Muenster, and Zach from Marblehead were all in the house and made their way to the stage, giving the crowd an impromptu mashup of talent that felt like an early Christmas gift. These guys didn’t miss a beat, each one adding their own flair to the night and keeping the crowd on their feet. Honestly, seeing so much talent in one room was chef’s kiss perfection.

And let’s give a big shoutout to the bartenders at Northland Sports Pub. These ladies were on their A-game, keeping drinks in hands, smiles on faces, and the good vibes rolling all night long. They worked hard to make sure everyone had an incredible time, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

Of course, nights like these aren’t just about the music and the drinks (though those are pretty key). It’s about the people. I ran into so many friends—old and new—and got to catch up, share laughs, and make memories. It’s nights like this that remind me how lucky I am to have such incredible people in my life.
