EAA week is always incredible. It is even better when you can hang out on the lake and watch the planes while sipping on your favorite beverage. You can even jump into the water to cool off when you get too hot. It really is one of my favorite times of the year. Boating and an airplane show are tough to beat. I am sorry if you missed it. You will have to wait till next year to get your boat and crew out to this memorable event. If you're not sure where to go. Plan on heading to the East end of Oshkosh by the Pioneer Marina. As you exit the river and into the mouth of Lake Winnebago. You will want to go out a short distance and turn South. I have a map for you to check out.  We also took a little time and went to Striechs beach to throw the football for a while.  Made for another great day out on the lake.
