Sometimes you just know it’s going to be a good night—and that’s exactly how I felt when I heard the Backyard Benders were playing at the Kountry Bar on Friday night. So, I did what any live music lover would do: I grabbed my keys and headed over.
I arrived a little early for a change (miracles do happen!) and noticed the crowd was a bit light. But no worries—good music has a way of drawing people in. The band was tucked into the back corner of the bar, but even in that cozy setup, you could feel the energy brewing.
Of course, I ran into some friends because, well, it was a live band! After grabbing a cold beer and catching up, the band started up—and that’s when the night really took off.
For those of you who aren’t in the know, the Backyard Benders are a power trio featuring the dynamic duo of singers from Nashville Pipeline. These guys bring the heat with a setlist that covers everything from upbeat country tunes to classic rock and today’s pop hits. It’s a musical mashup that gets your feet tapping and your vocal cords working overtime—because trust me, you will sing along.
The atmosphere was just right. The Benders nailed every track, blending nostalgic classics with fresh favorites. They kept it fun, lively, and interactive, the perfect recipe for a memorable night out. And while I came for the music, the bonus of chatting with friends in between sets made the evening even better.
Oh, and you know I didn’t leave without capturing some moments! I snagged plenty of photos and videos so you can experience the night vicariously.
If you haven’t seen the Backyard Benders yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. Whether you’re a fan of country, rock, or pop, they’ve got something for everyone—and they deliver it with energy and charm.
Until next time, keep the good times rolling, and remember: life’s better with live music! 🎶
