Saturday night and I wanted to see some live music in the area. I took off with a buddy and headed to meet some friends and catch the band Third Wheels. They are a fun 4 piece band that has some great diversity. They did a great job with a number of songs. The lead singer loves to take a song and make it hers. Her creative use of songs was a lot of fun to hear. A clever way of making a cover band really stand out. I highly recommend seeing this talented group. We headed over to see Model Citizens in Appleton but only stuck around for a couple of songs. We were running out of time to get over to Northland Sports Bar & Grill to catch up with one of my favorite buds. Mr. Pat Pedersen was playing with the Kip Jones Band. I have always enjoyed both Pat and Kip and they brought it like they always do. If you have not got a chance to check out Pat Pedersen or Kip Jones you need to get out and check them out! The two bartenders at Northland Sports Bar & Grill were fun and gave us a lot of good laughs.
