Friday night and 3 events popped up on my radar. Waverly Beach had a band so I thought I would run out and see how that was. The place was a ghost town. The road was under repair so I am not sure if that stopped people from coming in. In the back, the band played alone in the corner. So I turned my ass around and out the door, I went. Cimarron was just down the street and had the Minus One band playing. So I stopped in. I found out that every time the band plays at Cimarron, they do a theme. For Cinco De Mayo, they picked a cowboy theme. No Sombraos? As I walked in the band rocked the crowd. This bar always makes me laugh. The crowd here usually is 60+. This is awesome because everyone in the place always parties hard. Dancing and whooping it up. They also serve up a stiff-ass drink here. Which I know I appreciate. The band did a great job and were having fun. I'm not sure if they got a new wireless system. But the band members kept running off the stage and jamming out with the crowd. Even went behind the bar and got a shot right from the bottle. It was good for some fun. But I had some other friends calling and telling me to get out to Maloney's. They told us the band was great and we needed to see them. So out the door, we went. But I got you photos as well as a video for you to check out the Cimarron and the Minus One Band.
