Have you ever heard of the Mistakes Were Made band? No? Well, let me tell you, they were out at Waverly Beach Friday night March 10th and they absolutely killed it! As a huge fan, I'm beyond excited to promote them on Wiparty and get their name out to the public. Seriously, check out their webpage and booking info - you won't regret it!

Be sure to mark your calendars for this summer's Bago Barge and Beach Bash on July 22nd in Fond du lac, because Mistakes Were Made will be rocking the water on the barge. I can already guarantee it'll be a day you won't forget.

But let's talk about Waverly Beach for a minute. When I arrived, I was taken aback by the massive booths they had added to the back bar area where the bands play. It was like they were trying to create a maze or something. Not to mention, it cut the space almost in half and left little room for people to actually dance and enjoy the show. The idea behind this addon is unclear to me.

And let's not forget about the acoustics - they were like being in a giant tin can. Do you know what could have helped? Acoustic ceiling panels. Just a thought. It's weird because it seems like Waverly Beach is trying to establish itself as a premier music venue.

But let's not dwell on the negatives - the Mistakes Were Made band still put on a fantastic show, as always. I had a blast listening to and watching them perform. And don't just take my word for it - check out the photos and video for yourself.
