Sunday Funday, folks! My friend hit me up to swing by Stone Toad and take some snaps and videos of a benefit event for the Center for Suicide Awareness. And guess what? They had the More Then Marry band lined up to entertain the crowd. I found out the band actually donated their time as well as covered the cost of staging and sound. How cool is that!

So, I made it to Stone Toad, the parking lot was jam-packed! I mean, if you've been there before, you'd know it's a boatload of people. As I walked in, the More Then Merry Band was just getting ready to unleash their awesomeness. They were asking for a $5 donation for the Center for Suicide Awareness, and you know what? I didn't hesitate for a second. I even grabbed some 50/50 raffle tickets while I was at it.

I took about ten steps inside, and lo and behold, I spotted my friend who filled me in on what was going down. The backroom was teeming with some great silent auction items, and there were six tables loaded with awesome baskets. You could buy tickets and put your name in for the baskets you liked.

I walked around and bumped into a ton of folks I knew. And let's be honest, running into familiar faces is always great! They did two rounds of 50/50 ticket sales, and it was a blast.

Man, what an event! You can't beat spending your Sunday grooving to a quality band, all while supporting a fantastic cause. The More than Merry Band was phenomenal, and their original rock songs were damn good. Naturally, I captured video to share with y'all, so you can experience the fun. Overall, it was an epic day filled with great people, great music, and supporting an incredible cause.
