A SCAMP Photography story......  As I arrived at the Bantr in Rothschild Wisconsin, the excitement was high. The day couldn't come soon enough, and I found myself jokingly asking, "Is it time to party YET?" All this anticipation was for Rising Phoenix, an amazingly talented 5-man group that brings some of the best songs from the 80’s rock era, ensuring a good time wherever they go.

On and off the stage, these guys know how to have fun and work hard at it. Their musical talents are beyond impressive, from their incredible instrumentals to the wide-ranging vocals of Matt Berndt.  Rising Phoenix is a must-see whether you catch them locally or travel to experience their show.

The Bantr was already buzzing with high energy as people eagerly awaited the performance. Rising Phoenix took the stage, and the crowd's excitement surged. Their setlist was a perfect mix of 80’s rock classics, each song delivered with passion and skill. Matt Berndt’s vocals were spot-on, hitting every high note and energizing the crowd. The rest of the band played flawlessly, with thundering drums and ripping guitar solos adding to the electric atmosphere.

Throughout the show, Matt frequently broke the fourth wall, stepping off the stage to engage the audience in several photo opportunities and memorable moments.

I had the chance to chat with the band members. They were as down-to-earth and friendly as you'd expect. It’s clear that Rising Phoenix isn't just about playing music; they're about sharing their passion and creating memorable experiences.
