Ah, Friday night—time to forget the work week, grab a drink, and catch some live music. I rolled into the newly buzzing Thirst Bar and Grill in Greenville around 8 p.m., and let me tell you—the party was already in full swing! Sixx Gunns Loaded was up on stage rocking the house, but something seemed different… like, where was their lead singer?
Plot twist: the usual powerhouse lead singer Lisa had taken a nasty spill three days earlier and broke her ribs. Ouch, right? (Send good vibes her way!) But like the true rockstars they are, Sixx Gunns Loaded wasn’t about to let a little thing like broken bones stop the show. Nope. They pulled off some musical magic and brought in not one, not two, but THREE extra singers to step in and save the night. That’s right—with three regular singers in the band already (and one temporarily out), we got a total of FIVE different voices bringing the house down. A multi-genre mix-up that could’ve gone sideways turned into an absolute blast.
Shout out to Danica Gagne, Yolanda Suess, and Joe Farmer, who stepped in to fill the lead spot and absolutely crushed it. Each singer had their own sound, vibe, and energy to throw into the mix—a little rock, a little old-school metal, and a little bit of everything. And honestly? I loved every minute of it. Watching them juggle lead vocals while keeping the crowd hyped felt like witnessing a real-time "the show must go on" success story. The crowd was eating it up, and the energy in Thirst was electric.
Speaking of Thirst—this venue, you guys. If you haven’t been out there yet, what are you even doing?! The place was hopping, bartenders were killing it (seriously, they could’ve taught a masterclass on speed and smiles), and the food looked fantastic. I saw servers buzzing around like pros, taking care of packed tables without missing a beat. Add in a stage setup that makes any live band look and sound epic, and it’s safe to say Thirst Bar and Grill nailed the whole live music experience.
Oh, and it wasn’t just the band bringing surprises—I even ran into an old buddy I hadn’t seen in forever. There’s something about live music that just brings people together, right? We caught up over drinks, shared some laughs, and soaked in the epic night that Sixx Gunns Loaded and Thirst delivered.
As someone handling the band booking for the venue, I’m glad we brought Sixx Gunns Loaded in for this show. These guys (and gals) proved just how versatile and resilient they are, putting on a performance that kept everyone entertained and rocking all night long.
As always, I snapped some photos and grabbed video clips so you can check out the band, the crowd, and the venue. If you missed this night, don’t worry—Thirst Bar and Grill will surely have more killer shows lined up. Go check them out, grab a burger, and support live music. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later.
To the Sixx Gunns Loaded crew: hats off to you for pulling this off. Resilient, talented, and seriously fun—you made a memorable night happen, even with the odds stacked against you.
