Oh boy, let me tell you about my latest adventure! I made my way to the Bridge Bar in Fremont to catch a performance by the Spicy Tie Band. Before I even made it inside, I had to stop and check out their new outside bar and deck being built. Let me tell you, this place is going to be the ultimate hangout spot for all your summer shenanigans. I snapped a few pics of the new digs, and I gotta say, they're looking mighty fine. I can already picture myself sipping a cold one and soaking up the sun out there.
I spotted something wild. The water levels on the Wolf River were through the roof! I'm talking about so high that the piers were completely submerged. But get this – there were folks out there in their boots, still casting their lines like it was no big deal! I mean, I've seen some hardcore fishing in my day, but this takes the cake. I swear, these Fremont locals never cease to amaze me – always finding a way to make the most of any situation. I mean, who needs dry land when you can just fish from the piers underwater, right? Maybe they caught some big ones down there – who am I to judge? Either way, it was a sight to behold.
I strolled on in, and let me tell you, the place was already cranking! The band was just about to hit the stage, and it took me back to the good ol' days when I hired them for the Wiparty Boat show at Waverly. These guys are always ready to bring fun and party wherever they go. And speaking of parties, the crowd was in full swing, soaking up the good vibes and dancing like there was no tomorrow. I gotta hand it to the Spicy Tie crew – they know how to get the crowd pumped up!
But let's not forget the unsung hero of the night – the one and only Steve, owner of the Bridge Bar. This guy was running around like a madman, serving up drinks and keeping the place running like a well-oiled machine. This guy is really one hell of a good guy. I always enjoy running into him.
It's no wonder this place just keeps getting better and better. Between the band, the lively crowd, and the cool bartenders keeping you served up, the Bridge Bar is a must hit spot.
Oh, and I didn't forget about you – I captured some of the band action on video, along with some sweet photos of the band and the crowd having a blast.
I hope you enjoy watching the video and looking at the photos! Check out Wiparty.com for weekly things to do and bands to see!
