Saturday Night Spotlight: Virginia Steel at Thirst Bar & Grill

Another Saturday night, another live music adventure. This time, I set out to catch a band I hadn’t seen before—Virginia Steel, a powerhouse group hailing from Eau Claire, WI. Known for their high-energy variety show, these guys don’t just play covers; they reinvent them.

I pulled up to Thirst Bar & Grill in Appleton, ready for some great tunes. The crowd was a little light (which honestly, was a shame because this band deserves a packed house), but that didn’t slow them down one bit.

Virginia Steel delivered an electrifying performance, blending rock, blues, and pure stage presence into a set that had me hooked from the start. Their ability to take well-known songs and make them their own was impressive, but the highlight? Virginia herself busting out a saxophone and absolutely tearing it up! 🔥🎷
