Saturday night rolled around, and you bet I was hankerin' for some live tunes.  Maloney's was hosting Doozey and Avenue 55, and there was no way I was missin' that. Both bands have a reputation for tearin' it up, and let me tell ya, they didn't disappoint.

I got there just in time to catch Doozey kickin' things off. These guys are a three-piece pop-rock outfit that knows how to get a crowd going. Between the catchy riffs and their knack for crackin' jokes mid-set, it's impossible not to have a good time watching them do their thing. They’re all about the music and the laughs, a combo you don't see too often.

Next up, Avenue 55 hit the stage, and man, did they bring the energy. They're a rock band that belts out hits from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and they've got this chemistry on stage that's just magnetic. Seeing the Posselt brothers from Take 2 Acoustic doing their thing is always a treat. These guys are just great guys. Hard to believe how long I have been watching these guys play. Still enjoy seeing them every time. 

The place was buzzing, service was spot-on, and running into a bunch of friends was the cherry on top of a great night. It’s nights like these that remind me why I love the local music scene so much.
